صفات الملكية: my وyour و's
Possessives: my, your and 's
عبّر عمّن تعود إليه الأشياء باستخدام my وyour وhis وher وour وtheir و's.
نستخدم صفات الملكية (possessive adjectives) و's لنقول لمن يعود شيء ما. تأتي صفة الملكية قبل الاسم، ولا تتغير مع المفرد أو الجمع: my book, my books.

الأسماء والأعلام: 's وs'
بعد الاسم العلم أو الاسم المفرد أضف 's: Aiko's car, my brother's room. وبعد اسم جمع ينتهي بـ -s أضف الفاصلة العليا فقط: my parents' house. أما الجموع الشاذة فتأخذ 's: the children's toys.
- Kofi's sister is a doctor.
- My parents' garden is full of flowers.
- Where are your shoes?
- Sofia and Mina are at their grandmother's house.
- This is our teacher, Mr Okafor.
