الأسماء الجمع
Plural nouns
كوّن الجمع بإضافة -s و-es و-ies، وتعلّم صيغ الجمع الشاذة الشائعة.
يكون الاسم مفردًا (singular) عندما يدل على شخص أو شيء واحد، وجمعًا (plural) عندما يدل على شخصين أو شيئين أو أكثر. معظم الأسماء تضيف -s لتكوين الجمع: one book, two books.

صيغ الجمع داخل الجمل
استخدم a أو an مع الأسماء المفردة فقط: a dog, an egg. وبعد أي عدد أكبر من واحد يكون الاسم جمعًا دائمًا: two eggs, ten minutes. والفاعل الجمع يأخذ فعلًا جمعًا: The child is happy. The children are happy.

- Our children love stories about animals.
- Those people are my neighbours.
