소유격: my, your, 's

Possessives: my, your and 's

my, your, his, her, our, their, 's로 사물이 누구의 것인지 나타내 봅시다.

무엇이 누구의 것인지 말할 때 possessive adjectives(소유형용사)와 's를 씁니다. 소유형용사는 명사 앞에 옵니다. 단수인지 복수인지에 따라 형태가 바뀌지 않습니다: my book, my books.

이름과 명사: 's와 s'

이름이나 단수 명사 뒤에는 's를 붙입니다: Aiko's car, my brother's room. -s로 끝나는 복수 명사 뒤에는 아포스트로피만 붙입니다: my parents' house. 불규칙 복수형에는 's를 붙입니다: the children's toys.
