Possessives: my, your and 's
Tunjukkan milik siapa suatu benda dengan my, your, his, her, our, their, dan 's.
Kita memakai possessive adjectives dan 's untuk menyatakan milik siapa sesuatu. Possessive adjective diletakkan sebelum kata benda. Bentuknya tidak berubah untuk tunggal maupun jamak: my book, my books.

Nama dan kata benda: 's dan s'
Setelah nama atau kata benda tunggal, tambahkan 's: Aiko's car, my brother's room. Setelah kata benda jamak yang berakhir dengan -s, tambahkan tanda apostrof saja: my parents' house. Kata benda jamak tak beraturan memakai 's: the children's toys.
