Must ไม่มีรูปอดีตหรืออนาคต เราจึงใช้ have to สำหรับเวลาอื่น: I had to wait for an hour yesterday. We'll have to leave early tomorrow. ประโยคคำถามและปฏิเสธที่ใช้ have to ต้องมี do, does หรือ did: Do you have to wear a uniform?
