Sustantivos en plural

Plural nouns

Forma el plural de los sustantivos con -s, -es e -ies y aprende los plurales irregulares más comunes.

Un sustantivo es singular cuando significa una persona o cosa, y plural cuando significa dos o más. La mayoría de los sustantivos añaden -s para formar el plural: one book, two books.

Plurales en las frases

Usa a o an solo con sustantivos en singular: a dog, an egg. Después de un número mayor que uno, el sustantivo siempre va en plural: two eggs, ten minutes. Los sujetos en plural llevan verbos en plural: The child is happy. The children are happy.

  • I have two brothers and one sister.
  • There are three buses to the airport every hour.
  • Our children love stories about animals.
  • Those people are my neighbours.
  • Please brush your teeth before bed.
