Kata benda jamak

Plural nouns

Bentuk kata benda jamak dengan -s, -es, dan -ies, lalu pelajari bentuk jamak tak beraturan yang umum.

Kata benda bersifat singular jika berarti satu orang atau benda, dan plural jika berarti dua atau lebih. Kebanyakan kata benda menambahkan -s untuk membentuk jamak: one book, two books.

Bentuk jamak dalam kalimat

Pakai a atau an hanya dengan kata benda tunggal: a dog, an egg. Setelah angka lebih dari satu, kata benda selalu jamak: two eggs, ten minutes. Subjek jamak memakai kata kerja jamak: The child is happy. The children are happy.
