복수 명사
Plural nouns
-s, -es, -ies로 명사를 복수형으로 만드는 방법과 흔한 불규칙 복수형을 배워 봅시다.
명사가 한 사람이나 한 사물을 뜻하면 singular(단수), 둘 이상을 뜻하면 plural(복수)입니다. 대부분의 명사는 -s를 붙여 복수형을 만듭니다: one book, two books.

문장 속의 복수형
a나 an은 단수 명사에만 씁니다: a dog, an egg. 1보다 큰 숫자 뒤에서는 명사가 항상 복수형입니다: two eggs, ten minutes. 복수 주어에는 복수 동사를 씁니다: The child is happy. The children are happy.
