Present perfect o past simple?
Present perfect or past simple?
Il past simple descrive un'azione in un tempo concluso: yesterday, last week, in 2019, when I was a child.
| Punto | Past simple | Present perfect |
|---|---|---|
| Form | worked, went, saw | have / has + worked, gone, seen |
| Time | a finished time: yesterday, last year, ago | an unfinished or unstated time: today, this week, ever, never |
| Experience | Ravi visited Lisbon in 2022. | Ravi has visited Lisbon twice. |
| Duration | Lena lived in Oslo for five years. (She doesn't now.) | Lena has lived in Oslo for five years. (She still does.) |
