Fronting for emphasis and concession

Pindahkan kata ke depan untuk penekanan, dan nyatakan konsesi dengan bentuk seperti Strange as it may seem.

Bahasa Inggris biasanya menempatkan subjek lebih dulu, tetapi penulis yang terampil melakukan front, yaitu memindahkan suatu unsur ke awal kalimat, untuk menciptakan penekanan, kontras, atau hubungan yang mulus dengan kalimat sebelumnya. Dalam concessive fronting, kata sifat, kata keterangan, atau kata kerja diletakkan lebih dulu lalu diikuti as atau though, tidak pernah although: Hard though it was, Kofi admitted the mistake.
