เปรียบเทียบสองสิ่งหรือมากกว่าด้วยรูปอย่าง cheaper, more interesting, the biggest และ the best
เราใช้ adjective แบบ comparative (ขั้นกว่า) เพื่อเปรียบเทียบสองคนหรือสองสิ่ง โดยมักใช้กับ than เราใช้ adjective แบบ superlative (ขั้นสูงสุด) เพื่อบอกว่าคนหรือสิ่งหนึ่งมีลักษณะนั้นมากกว่าทุกคนหรือทุกสิ่งในกลุ่ม ขั้นสูงสุดมักมี the อยู่ข้างหน้า
