형용사의 비교급과 최상급
Comparative and superlative adjectives
cheaper, more interesting, the biggest, the best 같은 형태로 둘 이상을 비교해 봅시다.
두 사람이나 두 사물을 비교할 때는 보통 than과 함께 comparative(비교급) 형용사를 씁니다. 한 사람이나 사물이 그룹 안의 나머지 모두보다 더하다고 말할 때는 superlative(최상급) 형용사를 씁니다. 최상급 앞에는 보통 the가 옵니다.

- My cold is worse today than it was yesterday.
두 가지가 같다고 말할 때는 as + 형용사 + as를 씁니다: Mina is as tall as her mother. 차이를 나타낼 때는 not as ... as를 씁니다: The bus is not as fast as the train.
