Hello from Ravi

Dear Mr and Mrs Larsen,

My name is Ravi Sharma, and I am going to stay with you for four weeks this summer while I study at Westbridge Language School. I am 19 years old, and I am a university student. I study engineering, but in my free time I love playing badminton and cooking.

I am arriving on Sunday, 6 July. My flight lands at 3.15 pm, and I am going to take the airport train to the city centre. The school says it is a short walk from the station to your house, so I think I will arrive at about 5 pm. Is that a good time for you?

There are a few things you should know about me. I am a vegetarian, so I don't eat meat or fish, but I eat eggs and cheese. I am not allergic to anything. I am also an early riser. I usually get up at 6 am to go running.

I have a few questions. Do I need to bring a towel? Is there a washing machine I can use? And how long does it take to get to the school by bus?

I am really looking forward to meeting you and your children. I would be happy to cook a dish from my country for you one evening!

Best wishes,

Ravi
