اختر الصيغة الصحيحة

  1. a) hadهذا موقف حاضر غير حقيقي، لذلك نستخدم wish + الماضي البسيط.
  2. c) had goneهذا ندم على الماضي، لذلك نستخدم wish + الماضي التام.
  3. b) would stopنشتكي من عادة مزعجة لدى شخص آخر بـ wish + would.
  4. a) couldهذا عن قدرة لا أملكها، لذلك نستخدم if only + could.
  5. b) hopeالعطلة الجيدة ممكنة، لذلك نستخدم hope + جملة. أما wish فتحتاج إلى اسم: I wish you a lovely holiday.

اكتب الفعل

  1. knewهذا موقف حاضر غير حقيقي، لذلك نستخدم wish + الماضي البسيط: knew.
  2. hadn't missed / had not missedفوات الحافلة حدث ماضٍ نندم عليه، لذلك نستخدم الماضي التام.
  3. wouldn't interrupt / would not interrupt / didn't interrupt / did not interruptWish + would هي الطريقة الأكثر طبيعية للشكوى من عادة شخص آخر. وdidn't interrupt ممكنة أيضًا.
  4. were / wasهذا موقف حاضر غير حقيقي. ومع be نستخدم were، أو was في الكلام اليومي.
  5. had taken / 'd takenالرحلة في الماضي، لذلك يحتاج الندم إلى الماضي التام: had taken.
  6. couldلقدرة أو احتمال غير حقيقي الآن، نستخدم wish + could.
  7. didn't have to / did not have toهذا موقف حاضر غير حقيقي، لذلك يرجع have to إلى الماضي البسيط: didn't have to.
  8. had listened / 'd listenedهذا ندم على فعل ماضٍ، لذلك نستخدم الماضي التام: had listened.
