  3. wouldn't be / would not beشرط ماضٍ له نتيجة حاضرة (الآن)، لذلك نستخدم شرطًا مختلطًا: wouldn't be.
  4. hadn't missed / had not missedفوات الرحلة حدث في الماضي، لذلك تحتاج جملة الشرط إلى الماضي التام، رغم أن النتيجة حاضرة.
