Past simple: verbi regolari e irregolari
Past simple: regular and irregular verbs
Spesso diciamo quando sono avvenute: yesterday, last week, two days ago, in 2019.
Verbi regolari
I verbi regolari aggiungono -ed: work → worked, visit → visited. I verbi che finiscono in -e aggiungono solo -d: live → lived.
| Verbo | Past simple | Verbo | Past simple |
|---|---|---|---|
| go | went | buy | bought |
| have | had | see | saw |
| make | made | take | took |
| get | got | eat | ate |
| come | came | write | wrote |
| meet | met | leave | left |
Forme negative e domande
- Lena visited her cousins in Valencia last summer.
- We went to the lake on Sunday and had a picnic.
