A day in my life

My name is Lena and I am a bus driver. I get up at half past five every morning. First, I have a shower and drink a cup of tea. Then I walk to the bus station. I start work at half past six. I have lunch at noon. After that, I drive for four more hours. In the evening, I cook dinner and watch TV. I usually go to bed at ten o'clock.

時刻、順序、動詞

  1. b) at時刻には at を使います：at seven o'clock。
  2. c) inin the morning、in the afternoon、in the evening と言いますが、夜は at night です。
  3. a) FirstFirst は最初の動作に使います。Then は次に来ます。
  4. c) AfterAfter that は、最初のことが終わった後の「次に」という意味です。
  5. a) neverNever は「どんなときも〜しない」という意味です。コーヒーが好きでなければ、決して飲みません（you never drink it）。
  6. b) workshe、she、または my sister のような1人のときは、-s を付けます：she works。
  7. c) watches-ch で終わる動詞には -es を付けます：watch, watches。

Ravi の1日

  1. getshe、she、または1人のときは -s を付けます：Ravi gets up。
  2. hasHave は不規則動詞です。he、she、it のときは has になります。
  3. goesGo は he、she、it のとき -es が付きます：he goes。
  4. startHis classes は複数（they）なので、-s は付きません：they start。
  5. studies動詞が子音 + y で終わるときは、y を -ies に変えます：study, studies。
  6. finishes-sh で終わる動詞には -es を付けます：finish, finishes。
  7. doesn't like / does not likehe、she、it の否定文では、doesn't + 動詞（-s なし）を使います：he doesn't like。

I am a student and I live with my grandparents. On weekdays I get up at a quarter to seven. First, I have breakfast with my grandmother. Then I take the train to university. My classes start at nine and finish at three. After that, I work in a bookshop for two hours. In the evening, I always do my homework. I never go to bed before eleven o'clock.
