Sofia: Hi everyone, and welcome back to the channel! Today I'm taking you on a day trip from the city to Lake Orvella, which lots of you recommended in the comments. It's six forty in the morning, I'm on the train, and I've had about four hours of sleep.
Sofia: So, we've arrived, and the first thing that's gone wrong is that I've missed the ferry by about two minutes. The next one isn't for an hour and a half, so, change of plan. I'm going to hire a bike and ride round the lake instead.
Sofia: Okay, I'm about halfway round now. The path is completely flat and right next to the water, which is great for people like me who aren't very fit. The man at the bike shop said the whole loop is twenty-two kilometres.
Sofia: Lunch stop! This little bakery was recommended by a woman I met on the train. This is a pastry filled with cheese and herbs, and honestly, it's the best thing I've eaten all month.
Sofia: As you can see, it's started raining. The forecast said sunshine all day, so I didn't bring a jacket. Lesson learned! I'm waiting under a tree until it stops.
Sofia: Right, I'm back on the train. I'm soaking wet, but I've had such a good day. My tip for you: buy the day pass at the station. It's twelve euros and it covers the train and the ferry, so if you're more organised than me, you'll actually use both!
Sofia: Next week I'm heading up into the mountains, so make sure you subscribe. See you then!
