  1. The museum opens at 9:30 in the morning.“Nine thirty” is 9:30. You can write it with digits or in words.
  2. My appointment is on Tuesday at 4:15.“Four fifteen” is 4:15. Listen for the day before the time.
  3. The concert tickets cost 45 dollars each.“Forty-five” is 45. “Each” means for every ticket.
  4. The train leaves from platform 12.A platform is where you get on a train.
  5. The city has about 800,000 people.“Eight hundred thousand” is 800,000. Commas do not affect checking.
