- It was raining hard when Daniel left the restaurant.“Raining hard” は -ing に注意して聞きましょう。“Left the” は “lef-the” のように聞こえ、t はほとんど消えます。
- He took a black umbrella from the stand by the door.“Took a” はつながります：“too-ka”。“By the door” は傘がどこにあったかを表します。
- On the way home, he noticed it had a red handle.“Noticed it” はつながって聞こえます。“Had a” は弱くなります：“ha-da”。
