- My birthday is on the 3rd of May.“The third of May” はイギリス英語でよく使われます。3rd でも third でも書けます。
- Her party is on Saturday the 21st.“twenty-first” の最後の st を聞き取ってください。21st でも単語でも書けます。
- The school year starts on the 1st of September.“first” の t は “of” の前で弱くなります。1st でも first でも書けます。
- We got married on the 14th of June.“Fourteenth” は th の音で終わります。14th でも単語でも書けます。
- The festival is from the 5th to the 9th of July.“Fifth” と “ninth” はどちらも th で終わります。2つの日付は、両方とも数字か両方とも単語で書いてください。
