Words to know
- tutor
- A teacher who works with one student or a small group.
- broad
- Covering a lot of things; not detailed.
- survey
- A set of questions given to many people.
Answer key
- Have you decided on a topic for your project yet?“Decided on a” links together. “Yet” comes at the end of the question.
- I'm interested in how people use public transport.“Interested in” links. British English says “public transport”.
- That's quite broad, so you'll need to narrow it down.“You’ll” is “you will”. “Narrow it down” means make it smaller.
- Maybe I could focus on cycling in our city.“Could” is weak. “Cycling” ends in -ing.
- Good, and a short survey would give you useful data.“Give you” sounds like “giv-ya”.
