ฝึกอิสระตามแนวข้อสอบระดับสูงทั่วไป ไม่ใช่ข้อสอบจริง: เขียนประโยคใหม่โดยใช้คำที่กำหนด และเลือกประโยคที่ความหมายใกล้เคียงที่สุด
ในงาน sentence transformation คุณเติมประโยคที่สองให้มีความหมายเหมือนประโยคแรก คุณต้องใช้คำที่เป็นตัวพิมพ์ใหญ่ และมักต้องใช้สองถึงห้าคำในช่องว่าง งานเหล่านี้ทดสอบโครงสร้าง เช่น inversion, wish และ if only, passive ที่ใช้กับกริยารายงาน, modal verb แสดงการอนุมานในอดีต และรูปเงื่อนไขที่ไม่มี if

Lena realised how tired she was as soon as she sat down. (SOONER) No down than she realised how tired she was.
