Describing your home

自分の家やアパートについて、部屋、その中にあるもの、お気に入りの場所を短く説明しましょう。

描写は、読む人が頭の中で場所を思い浮かべる助けになります。自分の家を説明するときは、まず家の種類とその場所から始めます。次に、部屋について話し、中に何があるかを書きます。最後に、お気に入りの部屋と、その理由を書きましょう。

お手本の文章

My home

I live in a flat in the centre of Porto. It is on the third floor and it is not very big.

There are four rooms: a living room, a kitchen, a bathroom and a bedroom. The kitchen is small, but it has a big window. In the living room there is a blue sofa and there are a lot of plants.

My favourite room is the bedroom because it is quiet and I can read there.
