revise、deadline、assignment、concentrate など、勉強、試験、課題に関する単語を学びます。
学校でも、大学でも、夜間クラスでも、どのように勉強するか、やるべき課題、試験への気持ちを話すための単語が必要です。これらの単語は、クラスメートや先生との会話でよく使われます。
- revise動詞
- 特に試験の前に、学んだことをもう一度勉強するI'm revising for my history exam all weekend.
- pass動詞
- 試験やテストに合格するMina was delighted when she passed her driving test.
- fail動詞
- 試験やテストに合格しないHe failed the first test but passed the second time.
- assignment名詞
- 先生から出される課題Our science assignment is due on Friday.
- deadline名詞
- 課題を終えなければならない時間や日付The deadline for the essay is next Monday.
- term名詞
- 学校や大学の1年を分けた期間の1つThe summer term ends in July.
- subject名詞
- 数学や歴史など、学ぶ知識の分野Biology is my favourite subject.
- grade名詞
- 課題の出来具合を示す文字や数字She got a top grade in her final exam.
- take notesフレーズ
- 聞いたり読んだりしながら、大切な情報を書き留めるI always take notes during lectures.
- concentrate動詞
- 1つのことに全注意を向けるI can't concentrate when my phone keeps buzzing.
- memorise動詞
- 正確に思い出せるように何かを覚えるTomás memorised twenty new words a day before his trip.
- distracted形容詞
- ほかのことに気を取られて、集中できないI get distracted easily when I study at home.
